Wellness Floor Attendant

The Wellness Floor Attendant role is onsite in Swansea, MA. Pay is $16 per hour. The YMCA Southcoast Wellness Center aims to provide members and guests with a welcoming and safe environment. The attendant supports members with basic equipment guidance, monitors safe equipment use, maintains clean workout areas, and responds appropriately to incidents. The role helps members access the wellness center and its programs while upholding facility policies and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Greet and engage members and guests
• provide basic orientation to fitness equipment and the wellness center layout
• monitor safe and appropriate equipment use
• enforce age guidelines and safety policies
• clean equipment and workout areas
• identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
• respond to incidents and seek support when needed
• assist in promoting wellness programs, classes, and services as appropriate. CPR/AED certification is required within 30 days of hire.
