Senior Income Tax Accountant

The Senior Income Tax Accountant role is onsite in Louisville, KY, with compensation of $70,000–$85,000 per year. The position supports BrightSpring Health Services’ Corporate Tax Manager and tax compliance and reporting across company entities. The accountant coordinates tax filings and supports income tax provision work, audits, and tax-related projects. The role helps maintain accurate reporting, meet filing requirements, and improve tax processes in collaboration with Accounting, Finance, legal, and external tax service providers.

What you'll do

• Coordinate federal, state, local, and international income tax compliance with external providers, including filings, estimated payments, and extensions
• support preparation and review of ASC 740 income tax provisions
• maintain book-to-tax adjustment schedules
• respond to tax authority inquiries and assist with audits
• monitor tax law changes
• collaborate with Accounting and Finance
• improve and automate tax processes and controls
• assist with tax planning, compliance, and process-improvement projects.
