The Yard and Warehouse Assistant role is onsite in Kent, WA. Compensation is $17.73–$25 per hour. The role supports South Bay Sand Blasting & Tank Cleaning’s Washington operations as a shipyard-related subcontractor. The assistant maintains and organizes the warehouse, yard, vehicles, equipment, and facilities, while helping move supplies and prepare materials for field crews. This general support helps the company’s operations and other departments function safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• Clean and organize warehouse and yard areas
• wash company vehicles
• assist with basic vehicle, equipment, facility, and property maintenance
• perform minor repairs as directed
• organize tools and supplies
• load and unload materials
• receive and store deliveries
• pick up and deliver items as needed
• support Purchasing, Production, and Safety
• prepare tools and materials for field crews
• report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, maintenance needs, and supply shortages
• follow safety procedures.

Why this role

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Requires a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, ability to operate company vehicles, and ability to lift approximately 50 pounds. Must qualify for DBIDS security clearance; technical English is required.
