Senior Staff Accountant — Construction Accounting

What you'll do

• Process and code vendor and overhead invoices with supporting documentation
• reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• support payment runs and communicate with vendors and internal teams
• prepare customer billings, including AIA and retention billings
• review contracts for billing requirements
• prepare lien waivers and update schedules of values
• apply customer payments and reconcile accounts
• use customer billing portals and support accurate AR aging
• post bank activity, assist with reconciliations and aging reviews, and develop involvement in journal entries and month-end close
• maintain records in Sage 300 CRE and identify process improvements.
