What you'll do

• Support the surgical team
• anticipate surgeon needs and ensure supplies, instruments, and equipment are available
• maintain aseptic technique and report breaches
• verify patient identity and surgical site during time-out procedures
• transfer sterile supplies to the sterile field
• scrub across surgical specialties
• operate OR equipment
• decontaminate instruments
• assist with room turnover
• restock supplies and maintain clean workspaces
• participate in annual education and facility in-services.
