Resource Navigator

Job overview

The Resource Navigator role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, with compensation of $50,000–$55,000 per year. Community Family Advocates is building a team at the Engagement Center to help adults move from homelessness toward housing and other goals. The Resource Navigator welcomes and engages clients, listens to their needs, helps plan practical next steps, and connects them with services and resources. The role also supports housing searches, coordinates with colleagues, documents client information, and may accompany clients or outreach staff in the community.

What you'll do

• Welcome clients, explain and register them for Engagement Center services, assist with wayfinding, and help clients develop short-term plans through listening and motivational interviewing.
• Connect clients with case managers and community resources, support housing searches and applications, participate in outreach, document and share client information, and raise operational issues to help improve the Center.
