Capital Project Manager — Chemical Plant Projects

The Capital Project Manager role is onsite in Ingleside, TX, with compensation of $60–$85 per hour. On-Board Engineering supports a client that manufactures high-performance fluoropolymers and fluorochemicals, and this role joins its Capital Engineering group. The manager translates business objectives into project goals and leads cross-functional delivery of high-priority capital projects. The work includes managing budgets and schedules, coordinating project teams and steering stakeholders, completing front-end loading and funding documentation, and overseeing commissioning and turnover.

What you'll do

• Translate business objectives into capital project goals
• evaluate and document noncapital alternatives
• lead cross-functional teams
• manage project budgets and schedules
• liaise with the Business Unit Steering Team
• complete front-end loading deliverables, gate reviews, and funding documentation
• oversee commissioning, turnover, and operations and maintenance procedures
• validate project economics and coordinate design issue resolution.
