What you'll do

• Splice .500 through .875 coax cable
• remove and replace line extenders and amplifiers
• replace taps, splitters, and other active or passive components
• complete 1.8 GHz High Split upgrades
• troubleshoot and verify work
• complete field documentation
• perform nighttime production work.

Why this role

Previous HFC splicing experience and strong HFC outside-plant knowledge required. VIAVI ONX 620 or ONX 630 meter with loopback capability required or obtainable; own work vehicle with ladder rack and own tools required. Bucket truck experience is a plus; meter leasing may be available to qualified technicians.
