What you'll do

• Restrain animals using low-stress handling techniques
• triage and assess incoming patients
• collect and analyze laboratory samples
• perform diagnostic imaging and capture radiographs
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical preparation, procedures, and recovery
• provide nursing care
• document patient histories
• and communicate treatment plans to clients.
