What you'll do

• Review, prepare, and submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial insurance plans
• follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing issues
• verify insurance coverage and benefits
• post payments and maintain resident account records
• work aging reports and assist with collections
• communicate with payers and facility staff about claim status and account resolution
• and maintain billing documentation and notes. Skilled nursing facility billing experience is required
• PointClickCare experience is preferred.
