Trialing and Product Placement Intern

The Trialing and Product Placement Intern role is onsite in Woodland, CA, from May or June through August or September 2027. Pay is $20–$45 per hour. The internship supports Syngenta’s Operations & Trialing Team and vegetable research and product development. Syngenta develops seeds and crop protection solutions to support agriculture and food production. The intern assists with field evaluation of experimental germplasm, helps implement phenotyping technologies and protocols across vegetable crops, and collects and curates accurate data. The internship provides hands-on exposure to agricultural research and product development while applying academic knowledge to field projects.

What you'll do

• Follow applicable safety policies and procedures
• support field activities evaluating experimental germplasm
• help implement phenotyping technologies and protocols across vegetable crops in California’s Salinas and/or Central Valleys
• collect, document, and curate data
• perform other duties as required for project needs.
