The Mental Health Therapist role is an onsite position located in Fort Belvoir, VA. as a fixed annual salary, but ranges from $47 to $55 per billable unit, and this role supports the behavioral health department at Columbia Mental Health. This role exists to provide high-quality outpatient therapeutic services to individuals and families, contributing to the organization's mission of improving community access to mental health care. The therapist works within a collaborative environment to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote client stability and wellness.

What you'll do

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other therapists.
