The Software Engineer (SWE) – Level 3, TS/SCI with Polygraph role is onsite in Columbia, MD. Compensation is $230,000–$272,000 per year. The position supports software development and system operations under federal contract requirements for Constellation Technologies. This senior technical role exists to design, develop, integrate, and maintain software that meets system requirements and performance standards. It also provides technical leadership across development teams, supports quality control and testing, and helps ensure systems operate as specified.

What you'll do

• Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements
• design, code, debug, modify, and integrate software
• develop database queries and complex interfaces
• develop algorithms
• write or review software and system documentation
• assist with test procedures
• coordinate installation and monitor system operation
• recommend process and technology improvements
• lead software teams, delegate programming and testing, and ensure quality control. On-call support for system operations is required.

Why this role
