Mortgage Servicing Specialist

The Mortgage Servicing Specialist role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, with compensation of $28–$39 per hour. Trovy is building a financial platform for homeowners to manage their homes and access home-equity credit. The role manages the customer experience after a home equity line of credit funds, handling account activity, customer questions, escalations, and servicing operations. It also helps build servicing procedures and works with operations and product teams to improve accuracy, compliance, and customer outcomes.

What you'll do

• Respond to customer questions about payments, draws, statements, rates, payoffs, and account management by phone, email, and chat
• process and reconcile payments, draw requests, reversals, autopay changes, and payoff quotes
• handle disputes, billing errors, account corrections, and hardship conversations
• support delinquency management and early collections
• manage lien releases, subordination requests, insurance and tax issues, and account closures
• escalate compliance-sensitive matters within required timelines
• maintain accurate records
• draft procedures, call guides, and templates
• partner with operations and product teams
• and stay current on product features, state requirements, and servicing regulations.
