What you'll do

• Prepare the restaurant and cellar according to standards and cleaning schedules
• maintain knowledge of the menu, cheeses, and wine list
• recommend wines to guests and upsell where appropriate
• assist and guide the service team
• follow cellar-management procedures
• report guest complaints or comments to the Wine Director
• attend menu and wine training and briefings
• follow service, licensing, food-safety, health-and-safety, and fire-safety requirements
• maintain working relationships with other departments.
