The Experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN, with pay of $25–$35 per hour. Flexible 12-, 10-, and 7-hour shifts are available on days, swing, or nights. The position supports Noah's Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Care Hospitals. The technician provides veterinary nursing and hospitalized-patient care while working with veterinarians and support teams. The role may include anesthesia, perioperative care, medication and fluid administration, diagnostics, emergency and critical care, client education, and other responsibilities appropriate to training and assigned practice.
What you'll do
- Provide veterinary nursing and hospitalized-patient care
- perform anesthesia and analgesia and perioperative nursing
- administer medications and fluids
- obtain venous access and collect specimens
- support laboratory diagnostics, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, emergency and critical care, and transfusion medicine
- educate clients and maintain medical documentation
- perform other advanced nursing responsibilities appropriate to training, competency, and assigned practice.
