What you'll do

• Perform abrasive blasting
• remove rust, old paint, grease, and contaminants
• apply coatings with brush, roller, or spray equipment
• mix paints and primers
• inspect surfaces before and after work
• maintain blasting and painting equipment
• follow coating thickness and curing requirements
• comply with safety, environmental, and PPE requirements
• interpret work instructions and specifications
• coordinate with supervisors and quality personnel.
