What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
• inspect vehicles for maintenance needs and safety concerns
• complete work to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards
• explain diagnoses and repair recommendations to service advisors
• document work in the repair-order system
• maintain a safe, organized work area
• use diagnostic tools
• participate in training and certification
• test-drive vehicles
• mentor less experienced technicians as needed.
