Client Development Manager

Job overview

The Client Development Manager role is hybrid in Houston, TX: onsite for the first six months, followed by one work-from-home day after the six-month ramp-up. Compensation is $100,000–$115,000 per year. The role supports a Houston law firm with civil, trial, corporate, bankruptcy, intellectual-property, and appellate practices. What you'll do

• Build and maintain client and key-contact relationships
• identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and develop new business
• create practical business-development strategies and plans for attorneys and practice areas
• coach attorneys on networking, meetings, and follow-up
• maintain client and prospect information in the CRM
• coordinate business-development activities and assist with pitches, proposals, and RFPs
• track activities and report measures to leadership
• support marketing materials, communications, selected events, recruiting initiatives, CLE reporting, and budget tracking.
