What you'll do

• Repair, modify, design, lay out, or fabricate components with or without blueprints
• cut, fit, and weld metal using gas and electric welding equipment
• braze and solder
• use power saws, grinders, and drills
• interpret prints, drawings, plans, and job write-ups
• assist mechanics with production repairs, installations, and equipment removal
• maintain an organized work area
• complete special projects or duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
