The Caregiver / Personal Care Attendant (PCA) role is an onsite home health position serving clients in Las Cruces and surrounding areas, NM. Starting pay is $13.01 per hour. Heritage Home Healthcare provides in-home personal care services to support clients’ independence and dignity. The caregiver provides one-on-one assistance based on each client’s care plan. Duties may include personal care, companionship, mobility and meal support, light housekeeping, and observing and reporting changes to the care team; assignments and schedules vary with client needs. The role requires travel to clients’ homes and a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

What you'll do

• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
• offer supervision, companionship, and emotional support
• help with daily routines
• follow individualized care plans
• provide medication assistance as delegated and permitted
• assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning when needed
• help prepare meals and with light housekeeping
• maintain a safe, clean environment
• escort or transport clients to appointments or errands when required
• observe and report changes or concerns to the care team.
