Billing Coordinator

What you'll do

• Verify patient posting accuracy
• prepare outpatient and intensive outpatient billing for third-party insurance, Medicaid, and Macomb County Community Mental Health
• coordinate admission documentation
• post insurance payments and verify private insurance
• prepare Community Corrections billing and payroll
• maintain third-party billing information
• prepare and follow up on client statements
• resolve denied claims with insurers
• complete quarterly chart billing audits
• organize accounts and refund documentation
• coordinate clinical staff credentialing as needed
• maintain records and paperwork
• manage petty cash.
