What you'll do

• Register patients and verify demographic and billing information
• order physician-requested tests
• collect and label venous, capillary, arterial, and urine specimens
• document collections in the laboratory information system
• distribute specimens and notify laboratory staff of STAT testing
• process and distribute results
• maintain supplies and a clean, safe work area
• assist with training new phlebotomists as assigned.
