What you'll do
- Prepare, cut, trim, portion, and package beef, pork, goat, lamb, and poultry
- handle fresh and frozen products
- weigh, label, and package customer orders
- safely operate meat saws, knives, grinders, and other equipment
- maintain sanitation
- follow food safety and HACCP procedures
- inspect and store products
- rotate inventory using FIFO
- organize wholesale orders
- clean equipment and work areas.
