The Dining Cook role is onsite in Rockville, MD, with a part-time schedule of 11:30 AM–7:30 PM. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour. The cook also supports resident-focused dining experiences and works with the dining team to create a welcoming environment.

What you'll do

• Prepare entrees, soups, sides, desserts, and daily specials
• use professional cooking techniques and food presentation
• follow therapeutic, modified-texture, and special-diet guidelines as directed
• prepare food according to recipes and safety regulations
• respond professionally to dining requests
• support special events and holiday celebrations
• monitor freshness, portion control, and storage
• maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
• collaborate with dining team members.
