Manufacturing Estimator & Project Lead

The Manufacturing Estimator & Project Lead role is onsite in Germantown, WI, on the first shift. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour, based on experience. The role supports Gromax, a family-owned precision tooling and components manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, medical, electrical, and industrial markets. The position evaluates customer requirements and determines practical manufacturing approaches, costs, and schedules. By coordinating with production teams, engineers, vendors, and customers, it helps prepare accurate quotations and move projects toward production.

What you'll do

• Review customer drawings, CAD models, and RFQs
• develop manufacturing plans and production methods
• estimate labor, materials, machining, tooling, and outside processing costs
• prepare quotations and work orders
• coordinate with vendors
• support production planning, scheduling, and job release
• identify manufacturing, quality, and tooling issues
• communicate technical requirements and delivery expectations.
