Director, Portfolio Management

The Director, Portfolio Management role is hybrid, based in Phoenix, AZ, with at least three days in the office. The salary range is $165,000–$200,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus potential. Arixa Capital is a private real estate lender and alternative investment manager. The director develops a forward-looking view of investment-fund performance by translating loan-level results into implications for returns, liquidity, leverage, portfolio construction, and investor distributions. Analysis and forecasts support management and investment decisions across the funds.

What you'll do

• Assess portfolio performance and risks across investment funds
• translate loan performance into fund-level impacts on returns, NAV, liquidity, leverage, and distributions
• analyze return drivers and own portfolio forecast assumptions
• run downside and sensitivity scenarios
• partner with Finance and FP&A on performance and forecasts
• assess proposed loan allocations and recommend portfolio positioning
• evaluate capital deployment and liquidity needs
• establish indicators and early-warning metrics
• produce monthly portfolio assessments
• participate in Investment Committee and portfolio review meetings
• partner with Risk Management, Credit, Treasury, Capital Markets, Originations, and Finance.
