Production Operator

Job overview

The Production Operator role is onsite in Peru, IL. Compensation is $28.34–$31.92 per hour. The operator joins Epsilyte’s Operations team at a manufacturing site producing expandable polystyrene resin. The role monitors and controls chemical batch reactors, measures and adds chemicals, and operates equipment to support safe, smooth production and quality results. Operators follow plant safety and environmental procedures and record precise process information while working rotating 12-hour shifts.

What you'll do

• Monitor and control five chemical batch reactors through a computerized system
• measure chemicals and add them to the process
• maintain housekeeping and a safe work environment
