The Concrete Carpenter/Finisher role is onsite and primarily outdoors in Bluefield, WV. Compensation is not specified. Sequoia Services seeks experienced workers for heavy civil, industrial, infrastructure, or dam and spillway concrete work. The role builds and secures concrete forms, installs reinforcement and embeds, and performs concrete placement, finishing, curing, cutting, and repair. These tasks support the construction of concrete structures to specified plans, grades, locations, and elevations.

What you'll do

• Follow finish grades during slab pours
• read tape measures
• tie rebar to plans
• install embeds and anchor bolts
• set string lines
• measure, cut, assemble, and erect wood and steel forms
• secure forms at correct locations and elevations
• place, finish, cure, and cut concrete slabs
• use concrete finishing tools and equipment
• patch and repair concrete
• dismantle, clean, store, or dispose of forms.
