The Data Analyst — AI Training Data and Azure Operations role is onsite in Redmond, WA, five days per week, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week. The stated rate is $38–$41 per hour. The role is with Team Red Dog for a client described as a global technology leader and supports an applied science team developing AI models for Windows and devices. The analyst monitors OCR processing, validates datasets, manages metadata and cloud file transfers, and prepares data for AI model training. Collaboration with engineers, applied scientists, and data operations teams helps ensure datasets are accurate, traceable, and ready for downstream model development.

What you'll do

• Monitor OCR processing pipelines and investigate exceptions
• review logs and perform documented recovery procedures
• validate OCR outputs against source documents
• run data cleaning and validation tools
• maintain dataset inventories, metadata, manifests, and version tracking
• manage Azure uploads, downloads, and transfers
• verify file counts and transfer completion
• prepare datasets and quality summaries for model training
• maintain dashboards and reports
• collaborate on issue resolution and reprocessing
• document procedures and recurring issues
• follow data security, access, retention, and confidentiality requirements.
