What you'll do

• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document care
• recognize and respond to changes in condition
• communicate with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team
• assign and direct care responsibilities
• support new and reassigned staff
• maintain a safe therapeutic environment
• use crisis prevention and de-escalation skills and, when necessary, restraint, seclusion, and take-down procedures
• complete required training and education.
