What you'll do

• Welcome and communicate with patients, clients, visitors, vendors, and staff
• schedule appointments across health center services
• collect and verify demographic, insurance, sliding-fee, and copay information
• perform data, charge, and payment entry
• verify appointments by phone and update records
• scan paperwork into the EHR
• coordinate referrals, specialist appointments, vaccinations, and lab visits with clinical staff
• organize incoming medical records
• support patient flow
• maintain orderly reception and waiting areas
• maintain records in accordance with HIPAA and provider standards.
