What you'll do

• Compound and dispense prescribed medications
• review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients
• answer customer questions about interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage
• maintain quality assurance, controlled-substance security, and hazardous-drug disposal procedures
• maintain pharmacy records and inventory data
• instruct interns and medical personnel
• resolve customer complaints
• supervise department activities in the Pharmacist in Charge’s absence.
