Residential Technician

Job overview

The Residential Technician role is onsite in Santa Clarita, CA, with compensation of $18–$23 per hour. Live Oak Wellness Center’s residential program provides clinical and program services to clients in a 24/7 facility. The technician supports client safety, daily routines, admissions, and recovery programming. The role monitors client behavior, assists with treatment activities and documentation, coordinates with counseling staff, and provides transportation and supervision as directed.

What you'll do

• Monitor client behavior and intervene according to schedules, treatment plans, and house needs
• collect urine drug screens when directed
• supervise self-administration of medication
• facilitate groups and activities and document observations
• coordinate milieu treatment with counseling staff
• assist with daily routines and meal service
• transport clients
• conduct house and safety checks and drills
• complete intake paperwork and orientations
• provide one-on-one supervision of at-risk clients as directed
• perform administrative tasks.
