What you'll do

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, coordinating, and running community activities
• help prepare monthly activity calendars and newsletters when necessary
• encourage and assist residents to attend while supporting independence
• help order activity supplies and equipment
• may attend off-site outings and help track residents
• help maintain activity participation records
• support the community Parallel Programming schedule
• may safely drive residents to activities when needed
• protect resident privacy and support a safe environment.

Why this role

A high school diploma is required. Background in art, music, drama, or occupational therapy and one year of social or recreational program experience in a licensed health care setting are preferred; Alzheimer’s dementia knowledge is preferred.
