What you'll do

• Maintain the interdisciplinary team's MDS and care-plan schedule
• coordinate MDS and care-plan preparation under regulatory requirements
• track Medicare resident benefit days and validate the daily Medicare census for accurate billing
• respond to intermediary information requests and appeals within established time frames
• ensure Medicare denial letters are prepared within required limits
• participate in evaluating documentation for Medicaid reimbursement.
