• Provide classroom coverage based on staffing needs
• engage with and supervise children during activities, play, routines, and transitions
• support social-emotional development through positive guidance
• encourage exploration in classroom and outdoor settings
• assist with meals and daily routines
• maintain safe, clean, and engaging classrooms
• build respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• follow licensing, health, safety, confidentiality, and program requirements.

Why this role

Relief/on-call coverage is based on staffing needs, Monday–Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; hours and shifts vary. Requires at least six ECE units, an Assistant Teacher Permit or eligibility to apply within 30 days, and CPR and First Aid certification before classroom work.
