Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician

The Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician role is onsite at 5311 E. Fletcher Avenue in Tampa, FL. Compensation is $20–$27 per hour. The technician supports WestCoast Brace and Limb’s fabrication of orthotic and prosthetic devices. The role fabricates, repairs, and adjusts devices to meet work-order specifications and internal, industry, and safety standards. Careful assessment of work orders, use of tools and machinery, and inventory and time management support accurate, timely device production.

What you'll do

• Fabricate orthotic and/or prosthetic devices
• assess work orders for missing or conflicting information
• ensure device cosmetics and component alignment meet internal, industry, and safety standards
• perform repairs and adjustments
• manage time and inventory in the work area
• assist practitioners with patient-related questions from time to time
• use CAD/CAM knowledge.
