What you'll do

• Submit and process medical insurance claims
• follow up on denied, underpaid, and outstanding claims
• prepare appeals
• post insurance payments and reconcile balances
• research credit balances and refunds
• communicate with insurance carriers
• maintain patient demographics and account information
• provide phone and email customer service
• generate reports and document account activity
• maintain HIPAA compliance.
