The Electronics Technician 3 role is onsite, based in Washington, DC, and requires 100% travel. Pay is $32–$46 per hour. The technician supports M.C. Dean’s Security and Electronic Systems business unit, which delivers electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. The role helps install, maintain, commission, and troubleshoot security systems across field locations. It also supports field operations, system testing, documentation, and user training to keep customer systems operating reliably.

What you'll do

• Travel to support field office operations
• lead small to moderately complex installation projects
• conduct and document toolbox talks
• install and program head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV
• troubleshoot system and hardware issues
• commission and test software onsite
• perform inspections and inventory
• manage Bosch IDS access-control permissions and troubleshoot issues
• test access-control, database, and system integrations
• assist with user training
• document preventive maintenance, test results, calibrations, and performance metrics
• support annual maintenance and remote quarterly health checks.
