Planning Section Chief

The Planning Section Chief role is onsite at designated Emergency Operations Center locations in Colorado; the posting lists compensation of $40–$55 per hour. What you'll do

• Coordinate with the State Emergency Response Team and Operations Section Chief to establish operational objectives through action planning
• oversee planning documents, incident action plans, situation reports, and information deadlines
• coordinate technical planning support and briefings
• maintain event chronology and WebEOC activity
• support emergency plans, client meetings, and information sharing. The role may require 12-hour workdays, evenings, weekends, and travel or deployment to client sites.
