The Medical Assistant – Triage, Pain Management role is onsite in Dallas, TX, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; compensation is not specified. The role supports the clinical team at Epic Pain Management’s new Dallas location. The medical assistant prepares patients and records for provider encounters, gathers and documents clinical information, and supports procedures and care coordination. This work helps maintain accurate records, efficient patient flow, and compassionate outpatient pain care.

What you'll do

• Room patients and document vital signs, complaints, histories, medications, and pain assessments
• identify and communicate concerning findings to providers
• update EMR records and prepare charts
• assist with urine drug screening and specimen handling
• prepare rooms and patients for procedures
• coordinate imaging, referrals, and follow-up
• reinforce provider-directed instructions.

Why this role
