In-Home Caregiver

The In-Home Caregiver role is an onsite position in Pueblo, CO, paying $17–$19 per hour, including mileage for select shifts. Senior Helpers of Colorado Springs supports seniors and their families with care that promotes comfort, companionship, dignity, and independence at home. The caregiver provides individualized assistance that helps clients remain safe and comfortable in their homes. The role supports daily routines through companionship, personal care, meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and communication with families and the office about care provided or changes in condition.

What you'll do

• Build relationships through conversation and companionship
• participate in clients’ preferred activities
• prepare meals and snacks
• assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines
• provide transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
• organize mail
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• provide medication reminders
• offer Alzheimer’s and dementia care when needed
• document care and report changes in clients’ conditions.
