Behavioral Health Group Home Peer Support Specialist

The Behavioral Health Group Home Peer Support Specialist role is onsite in Helena, MT, and is part-time; pay is $16.50 per hour. Many Rivers Whole Health partners with people and communities to provide wellness, mental health, and substance use disorder services using a recovery-based approach. The specialist uses personal recovery experience to support Behavioral Health Group Home clients as they work toward recovery goals and community integration. The role helps clients build skills and confidence, connect with resources, and coordinate support with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

What you'll do

• Help clients develop personal recovery plans and identify support opportunities
• listen to clients and encourage discussion of their lives, struggles, and goals
• manage the BHGH client caseload
• promote self-determination
• coach clients developing community integration skills
• advocate for life skills and goal attainment
• connect clients with resources
• coordinate with the treatment team
• monitor clients, document progress, and report concerns.
