The Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Provo, UT, and pays $18 per hour. This part-time position is scheduled for 36 hours, including three Sundays per month. Oasis Ascent is a short-term residential treatment program for teenage boys, providing assessment, secure care, and intensive support to teens and families in crisis. The Academic Assistant supports students’ classroom participation and online coursework while helping them build focus, study skills, and coping skills. Working with Academic Advisors and other professionals, the role monitors academic progress and helps students set goals and plans for the future.

Why this role

Part-time, 36-hour schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; Wednesday 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.; three Sundays monthly 2:45–5:15 p.m. Prior adolescent mental-health or residential-treatment experience is preferred but not required.
