Technical Architect — Data and Analytics

The Technical Architect role is onsite in Springfield, IL; CSpring is a consulting firm specializing in data strategy, data engineering, and data analytics for public- and private-sector clients. The architect leads hands-on design and modernization of enterprise data warehousing, reporting, analytics, and transaction-processing solutions. The role translates business and regulatory needs into maintainable systems, guides engineering delivery, and helps clients make informed architecture decisions.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end application and technical architecture for reporting, analytics, data integration, and transaction processing
• translate business and regulatory requirements into system designs
• modernize legacy ETL, SQL, scripts, and manual processes
• lead development, code review, testing, deployment, tuning, and production support
• define architecture across application layers and infrastructure
• lead BI and analytics delivery
• establish engineering practices and CI/CD
• document designs and roadmaps
• mentor technical staff
• present options and recommendations to stakeholders.
