The Engineering Intern role is onsite in Sheridan, WY, with compensation of $22 to $25 per hour. WWC Engineering is a multidisciplinary, employee-owned professional firm providing civil, environmental, surveying, and related services to communities. The intern supports engineers, surveyors, geologists, and technical staff on civil and environmental projects while gaining experience in design, inspection, assessment, surveying, research, compliance, and technical writing. The role combines office and field work with mentorship from licensed professionals.

What you'll do

• Assist engineering and surveying staff with project work
• perform preliminary designs and calculations under project manager guidance
• learn Autodesk Civil3D and other design software
• research design concepts and regulations
• collect and document field data, including inspections, surveying, soil and water sampling, and site photos
• contribute to technical reports and permit applications
• support environmental and regulatory compliance.
