Alls Well’s Direct Service Professional internship is designed to build skills for supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their communities. Working under a qualified Direct Service Professional, the intern learns and performs entry-level support duties for up to three months and up to 30 hours per week. The work centers on person-directed support, empowerment, community participation, daily living skills, and health and wellness.

What you'll do

• Learn about and perform entry-level Direct Service Professional duties under a qualified professional
• support participant empowerment, communication, community living skills, education, training, advocacy, vocational and career support, documentation, relationships, and health and wellness as tailored to each individual.
