Service Manager — Building Maintenance

Job overview

The Service Manager role is onsite in Annandale, VA. Pay is $40–$42 per hour, plus a 10% quarterly bonus. The position coordinates building and grounds maintenance and repair with other departments. The manager organizes and supervises maintenance work to keep buildings, equipment, and grounds functioning safely and reliably. The role schedules repairs and preventive maintenance, guides maintenance personnel and contractors, monitors work quality and costs, and coordinates with the Community Manager and other departments.

What you'll do

• Plan, direct, supervise, and perform maintenance and repair tasks
• schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, replacements, and installations
• advise the Community Manager
• orient and supervise maintenance personnel
• requisition supplies and equipment
• maintain work and cost records
• inspect systems, buildings, and grounds for function and safety
• supervise outside contractors
• direct grounds care and cleaning
• maintain tools and equipment
• use company software to schedule and track tasks
• respond to emergencies as required.
