What you'll do

• Examine patients and interpret radiographs and diagnostic tests
• diagnose and treat oral diseases, abnormalities, injuries, and disorders
• evaluate findings and prescribe treatment
• restore defective teeth
• perform routine preventive, periodontal, oral surgery, endodontic, and prosthodontic treatment
• provide consultation
• perform complex dental procedures in the absence of a specialist
• may serve as a residency preceptor.
